Costas Demetriou is a second generation marine mechanic who has grown up within a family of mechanics. After working at the family business he eventually opened his own workshop as a boat mechanic in 1983.
Currently Costas is the only authorized mechanic and official dealer for Cummins marine engines in Cyprus. He maintains the official factory authorized diagnostic software for servicing Cummins engines and also maintains a stock of original spare parts for Cummins engines.

In addition Costas attends all seminars and training courses that are mandated by the Cummins official instructors for updates on the newest technological advancements and in keeping with the strict standards set by Cummins marine engines. He may be the only one in Cyprus with the most certificates.
Costas also specializes in the servicing of Mercruiser and Mercury Diesel engines.
Costas is also the founder and president of The Cyprus Association of Boat Mechanics. His vision for this endeavor was for providing a platform where customers in need for engine servicing could find; recognized and highly qualified marine mechanics and especially in delivering a serviced engine that is deemed safe for operation.
Ever since, he has attended many courses and seminars on different aspects of marine engineering.
